First Visit with Santa

Cullen had his first visit with Santa over the weekend. We weren't surprised when he sat down, looked up at him, and smiled from ear to ear. He hasn't met a stranger yet and his personality continues to get brighter.

I had an exciting week! I went to swing for the first time at the park with Mama and Daddy. Of course Mama would not let me in the swings until she sanitized them with Wet Ones. I made her promise she will not do this when I get older bc it would be so embarassing!Then she got some pictures of me in my pack and play. It is so much fun
in there with all my toys. And...Aunt Julie convinced Mama to buy me some Uggs. It may be 70 degrees but I am going to be so stylish in my Eskimo gear! Had fun seeing Mimi and Papa today and send kisses and hugs to Baba and Grandaddy! Love, Cullen

6 months old!

Little Cullen is 6 months old today! He has, and I am sure his Daddy will agree, been the best blessing we have ever received and I cannot imagine any sound better than his laughter! A few things he is doing right now:

· TEETHING – Ugh!!! I thought I would start with the least fun one first because all the others are fun. Those little bottom teeth could not come in fast enough. I hate to hear “the cry” where I know something is hurting him.

· Rolling all over the place! I went from the den to the kitchen and straight back last week and found him off his mat and reaching all under the couch. I think we have a little curiosity seeker on our hands!

· Loves all new toys that light up and play music! He has one that plays songs and animal sounds and spins and spins it.

· Loves and I mean loves his sister Jessie! When she walks by he just laughs and laughs – he thinks she is hilarious!

· Loves to be naked and roll all over his bed as you can see from one of my favorite pictures attached.

· Loves the Wonder Pets – as soon as it comes on he stares at the television and watches it with such seriousness.

· Quits crying as soon as I start singing “Jesus Loves Me.” No other song seems to do the trick but as soon as I start singing this one he quits crying and immediately calms down.

· Loves Miss Nita at school and loves all the sweet ladies at the church nursery – he is a little socialite for sure and a little ladies man. He jumps right into their arms and bats those long eyelashes!

· His favorite place to sleep is between Justin and I. He snuggles right in!

· And yesterday…..he discovered how good his thumb tastes!

Cullen Arrives

Cullen arrived at 4:03 P.M. on February 27, 2009. He was 7 lbs 12 ozs and 20 1/2" inches long.

First Shampoo

This video was taken just after Cullen's birth. Julie, one of Neilie's best friends, is the nurse washing Cullen's hair. It was a great experience to have her take care of him during and after the birth. Thank you Julie.
